2024 Baltimore City early vote locations are set!
Baltimore City and State Boards of Election have approved 8 early vote locations for Baltimore City. This includes 3 new locations that were not in use in the 2022 election.
Early vote locations are now set for the May 2024 primary election after being approved by both the Baltimore City Board of Elections and the State Board of Elections. An interactive map with all locations is available here.
The eight locations are as follows:
Westside Skills Center, 4501 Edmondson Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229
The League for People with Disabilities, 1111 East Coldspring Lane, Baltimore, MD 21239
Mount Pleasant Ministries, 6000 Radecke Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21206
Public Safety Training Center, 3500 Northern Parkway, Baltimore, MD 21215
Southeast Anchor Library, 3601 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224
James McHenry Recreation Center, 911 Hollins Street, Baltimore, MD 21223
Farring-Baybrook Recreation Center, 4501 Farring Court, Baltimore, MD 21225
BCCC-South Pavilion, 2600 Liberty Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215
The early vote locations have changed in three important ways from past elections.
1. New West Baltimore location at BCCC-South Pavilion!
At the November 16, 2023 meeting of the Baltimore City Board of Elections, the board voted to approve an additional early voting location at the BCCC campus on Liberty Heights Avenue in West Baltimore. This site addresses concerns raised in past years by establishing a site in Central West Baltimore. The board would like to thank Senator Antonio Hayes for his advocacy as well as the City Council and Board of Estimates for supporting this site.
2. Southwest Baltimore early vote location moves down the street to James McHenry Recreation Center.
Construction at the University of Maryland Baltimore Community Engagement Center has made that location unavailable for use as an early voting location in May 2024. The James McHenry Recreation Center is just down the street and is available and will be used for the 2024 primary election.
3. New South Baltimore early vote location established at Farring-Baybrook Recreation Center.
At our October meeting, the board approved a new early vote location at the Farring-Baybrook Recreation Center in Brooklyn after our prior South Baltimore location became unusable.
Gratitude to staff and partners!
The board would like to express its gratitude to the election staff at the Baltimore City Board of Elections as well as our partners at Baltimore City Community College and the Baltimore City Department of Parks and Recreation for their support in establishing these three new early vote locations. The board is grateful to all our early vote site hosts for their hospitality and support for the early voting process.
Early voting will be held from Thursday, May 2, 2024 through Thursday, May 9, 2024. Early voting centers will be open from 7 am to 8 pm. If you have any questions about early voting or anything else related to the May primary, please feel free to reach out by replying to this email!
